One-of-a-kind Romance

My heart is somewhere in the Palisadoes peninsula.
How I wish I could go back to that place again.
A fascinating woman anticipates my return.
I still think of the evening I walked away from her.
Oh how I long to embrace her in the sea breeze.

Alice and I were so in love with each other.
She at no time expected me to tell her goodbye.
I left her on the shore of the Caribbean Sea,
But my whole heart stayed behind with her.
How could I ever forget our one-of-a-kind romance?

We wished upon stars and we painted rainbows.
There was no love like our love in the world.
We laughed and kissed where flowers bloomed.
I may not behold the beauty of Alice again,
But wherever she is, my heart will always be there.
