I Can Mend Your Broken Heart

I know you’ve lost your lover,
But never mind, my dear.
Don’t feel bad because he said goodbye.
It’s not your fault that he’s gone.
You’re not the loser, he is.
There must be a better man for you.
You’re so sad and lonesome,
But you won’t be unhappy forever.
I can mend your broken heart.

Baby, it’s not the end of the world,
You’ll soon find another lover.
You’re pretty, smart, sexy and sweet.
I’d be a happy man if I had you.
Don’t stay in bed all day and pine and cry.
Take the pillow from your face,
Let me wipe away the tears.
Someday you’ll fall in love again.
I can mend your broken heart.
