The Light!

That was the last
We all thought
The long days and nights
Monotonously spent
Hoping for the brighter days!

There they came
Did they last any longer?
We are back to where we started
Even worse stories being told
More tears being shed

We can't see light. Yet.
But we still need the hope
Hope that all will get better
Hope that we shall see the end
Hope that this catharsis will be a story soon

And when you flip through the chapters
The smell of old paper
Is all that welcomes you
Cause it is finally part of the past
Read actively as a past predicament!
