My Own Way.

You want special treatment
You crave for my cajoles
You love to snuggle with me
You think I don't love the offer play?
If only I could, I could.

Your ways of loving are snobby, you say.
You actually don't love, I say.
You insatiably crave love
Yet offer something unreachable
If only I could, I could.

Domineering is what you are
You could be but always?
I can be, too
I chose to be meekly obedient, not a second longer
If only I could, I could.

I could buy you so much
I could love you so much
I could crave you so much
I could show you so much more
If only I could, I could.

Your lack of a laissez-faire attitude
Your overly insatiable desire of full attention
Gets monotonously infuriating
If only you let me do it my way
If only I could, I could.
But I can't cause your needs are not in my reach

Poet's note: To those that feel overly demanded for what they can't offer yet. Everyone loves to be loved but it can't always be your way. Let people love you their own way, in a way they know how to.
