My Poor 2020
I had plans and dreams,
I had goals to reach.
With how it seems,
You have a lesson to teach.
I long for the air outside,
But you won't swallow your pride.
I miss the rush of the mall,
And now you have built this wall.
But is it guaranteed,
With this "Self Quarantine"?
Or will I be left to weep,
Once you are done with your sweep?
I had plans and dreams,
That will never be.
Now that you are taken away from me,
I guess I have to just let it be.
