The Safe Journey

That tiresome day
My eyes so dim, couldn't see well
But a saw it, a corpse!
On the road, oh! lying beside
I regretted, all the way
Till that city

A young lady
Died on the spot
Hit by a truck
They, Calling it an accident
I could not believe, that steady speed?

The passengers cried, but couldn't dare
He saw it wise, never to care
To garner for money, it is all they need
They Carry excess, to get the bread
I curse them all, he who doesn't care

The officers on the road
They ruin and leave,
Our lives in danger
They like the sugar
Than life and joy.
