Wild Growth

Whoever planted this here
Must breed wild thoughts
A red rose standing alone
With hips of pure red
Along a large field where
Yellow narcissus spread
Of gentle solitary flowers
I often wonder of how needs
And realities pull humans
Away from the ordinary
I am the rose and so are you
