It struck me-every Day-
The Lightning was as new
As if the Cloud that instant slit
And let the Fire through-
It burned Me-in the Night-
It Blistered to My Dream-
It sickened fresh upon my sight-
With every Morn that came-
I though that Storm-was brief-
The Maddest-quickest by-
But Nature lost the Date of This-
And left it in the Sky-
