He forgot-and I-remembered-
'Twas an everyday affair-
Long ago as Christ and Peter-
“Warmed them” at the “Temple fire.”
“Thou wert with him”-quoth “the Damsel”?
“No“-said Peter, 'twasn't me-
Jesus merely “looked” at Peter-
Could I do aught else-to Thee?
