As From The Earth The Light Balloon

As from the earth the light Balloon
Asks nothing but release-
Ascension that for which it was,
Its soaring Residence.
The spirit looks upon the Dust
That fastened it so long
With indignation,
As a Bird
Defrauded of its song.
