I Guess It's Over

I guess they were right,
when they said the world isn't all black and white.
Nothing lasts forever,
but I thought we'd stay together
no matter the storm, no matter the weather;
close as a bird and it's feather.

I guess it's true
Love is something I never knew,
I guess we
never had a destiny,
just misery.
You were my cure
to a heart that was once unpure.

Now I stand tall
gripping my feet, because I don't want to fall,
but I'm sorry for giving you my heart
I had no idea you'd rip it apart.
