Dream
Destiny is blind
Pain is unkind.
How can I stand tall,
when all I do is fall?
Where do I go,
if I can't see the afterglow?
How will I know?
Joy is earned
through the hardships in which we've learned.
Nobody is concerned.
I have a dream,
I put on hold to fit in with others team.
When will I be happy?
Do I just live to make others lives less scrappy?
When is my turn
to create my own life, when will they learn?
Destiny is blind.
Pain is unkind,
but I will not be confined,
by others I will not be defined.
As I look to the sky.
On the grass I lie.
I have a dream
which is far, but no more unseen.
