The fertile mind’s a foetus
Thoughts and experiences
Fuel the written words’ growth
Conceptualising to give birth
In mind, body and spirit to unite
A poem’s born and in sight
Addition to a family of poetry
The mind unravels mystery
Imaginings in a spirit of love
Organised in a writing verve
Birth a poem and give it form
Growing its body till its term
To exit and excite the reader
Who scans the written matter
Appreciating it or being critical
A poem is quite transpersonal!
