To The Girl In My Head

we've never properly met,
since once I saw you,
but I'd like quite to do so,

I have heard enough of your,
delicate voice and laughter,

I dream of you in reality,
every time I close my eyes,

but just before I sleep,
each strand of your hair,
curls in every mine thought,

the way your lips might taste,
honey or vanilla?
dominates my reality dreams,

the way your best perfume,
pleases,
makes me a wondering boy,

it's a curiosity I've hidden and fought,
but you've won! GIRL IN MY HEAD.

Poet's note: We meet coincidentally at different places e.g schools, trips, parties etc. We later link up after exchanging contacts and sometimes happen to fall in love. This creates lots of imagination about how the other person looks and behaves because at first we never pay good attention, even if we do pay the attention, the time is usually too little to know someone better. I wrote to appreciate such ways of falling in love. And the expectations on the first physical meet up in love.
