Speak Life

Life doesn't look at our faces,
To see if we tremble or quake,
Or to check the level of disgrace,
It has caused our helpless souls.

It will hit at everyone continuously,
Paying no attention to personality.
Regardless of how often we get hit,
We should get up and keep moving.

I have seen the poor comfort the rich,
The latter isn't immune to life's cruelty.
Indeed, beggars never hesitate to give,
They know what it means to be in need.

We must strive on being independent,
Because depending on someone else
Is the same as placing our happiness
On something we may eventually lose.
