War Room
When everyday seems stained with grief
And our own efforts bring no relief
When satan's lies subtly entice
Until he has us in his vice
Feeling hopeless and utterly weak
Always crying when we speak
We choose a simple place to pray
A battleground for every day
Humbly falling on our knees
Begging Jesus won't you please
When we're helpless and we're weak
On our behalf you stand to speak
Lord you promised, you won't forget
To defend and to protect
Your love for us is fierce and large
You promise to give your angels charge
With great response we'll be rewarded
For our requests you have recorded
You trample on snakes and kick down walls
Truth is revealed and the enemy falls
By meditating on your word
Declaring every verse we've heard
With God there's victory for every fight
He has the power and the might
