I Will Rise And Shine.

I will rise and shine
Like the smiling morning sun,
From grass to grace
Like a phoenix rising from it's ashes.
No hooks will hold me back,
No baits, no stumbling blocks.

I will rise and fly
Like a hungry eagle from its nest,
High and high without rest.
I will be the predator and not the prey,
Replace my claws of clay
With new ones of iron.
I will pounce on my prey like a lion.

I will not sit back
And watch them stab my back,
I won't be ashamed or betrayed.
Neither let their love of hate
Decide my fate.

Poet's note: We live in a jungle were the only rule is "survival for the fittest", man has to do everything within his reach to define himself in this meaningless universe.
