Your Sun

I'd be the sun in your moon,
A fire burning in your skies.
Layers of white and orange tune
In petals of flowers yet to bloom.

A smell I would recognise,
Scented candles chanting by.
Your eyes with the sunrise
Is a picture I've carved in my sky.

You appear when I close my eyes,
An angel flying with fireflies.
Beauty I truly long to recognise,
Hoping it remains when I rise.
