Missing You
I miss the distant sounds of crickets,
The melody formed by hummingbirds.
Nature's whispers, such calming voices,
The water dripping towards my eardrums
And my feet moving to its beat.
A beat I got accustomed to,
Mornings with some milk and honey.
Things I never thought I'd do,
With the warmth of your company.
