Lonely Visitor

Darkness visited me at night
He had a story to tell
both of us shared common pain
Lonely nights and numerous blame
Insidiously he came
to avoid any unwanted shame
Silently he narrated the story
How his life has been so lonely
He rambles through the streets
But nobody extends greets
Stars from far laugh at him
And moon casts its belittling beam
Throughout the night he cried and yell
Life is far better than this, in hell
