The Voice In My Heart

In an introspect moment,
Of a clueless and empty thought,
I closed my open eyes,
And gazed at the heavens,
Asking for a minor sign,
For my life once to adorn,
Oh He answered me!
As I opened my eyes to see,
At first I wouldn't believe it's true,
When I turned and saw You!

In a dark and dreadful path,
At the jaws of perilous death,
I wouldn't take another step,
My self-examination sees a trap,
Without a conclusive motif,
I was drowned in a "what if"
Out of it I saw your eyes,
One of the most important reasons,
I learned the reason to keep on,
When you assured me I'm not alone.
