Dear Dad

I'm certain words can't equate,
with what you are and what you made.
You'd give all of us not just a plate,
but hope and dreams that'd never fade.

In every step that I made you'd guide,
and advise of the weary waves and pressure.
A golden heart ever portrayed,
by love and care beyond measure.

You're a powerful pillar that holds,
a family together on faith and fidelity.
Despite the waves and unbearable storms,
your hand would always remain fatherly.

Happy Father's Day pops,
your memory will live to last,
and the light of your earth days,
will shine and spread beyond dust.
