Money Doesnt Bring Happiness

*_MONEY DOSEN'T BRING HAPPINESS _*
6/6/2026

You said money doesn't bring happiness,
But have you ever washed a shredded coat?
Sleep naked to wear it more?
Have you ever searched the trash?
Called rutting foods as dinner?

You said money doesn't bring happiness,
Have you watched men
Who lived in mansions?
While you call hard floor
A home tonight?
Have you ever seen men drive and fly...
While you walk barefooted under
The scorching sun?
Great men smell nice,
Rich men laugh loud,
Have you ever sat beneath
The moonlight?
Call the trees the shadows
Blight
Have you ever held a bill?
Spread it to the wind
And they fall down like gush
Of rain?

You said money doesn't bring happiness,
Have you ever wondered
Around the street
With nowhere to call home?
No wife to cook...
After a stressful day
No kids to hug,
To say daddy's home?
No appointment fixed
For as early at morrow?

Maybe money brings delight,
Maybe money cures illness,
Maybe money is all
We need
To be at the top
To be complete
To be able...
Maybe money is our bliss
Maybe money brings happiness
