Unclaimed

Oluwadunjoye John Tobi

Freely, this wind blows
My tattered flag of despair
How refreshing this really makes me feel
The weight of hopelessness seem lifting
Oh how happy I am
To see the sky blue and the rainbows colorful
Seems today again might be a good day
To go out of the cocoon in search for bread
Forgetful I seem nowadays
Of all my villainy actions written in stone
Soothing they get
All these scars from the righteous souls swords
Who came to claim all blood debts owed
Cmon don't hide your pretty faces
You reapers who claim the wicked and unrighteous
Do I not look ripe enough for the taking
I sure am
A cicada flower ready to be plucked
But always you pass me by
Flashing your sickles that knows no partial
You like to play games
Hiding and seeking to give me more despair and hope?
Oh you naughty creatures
Just do your job for once, or I'll find another
Reaper you, yes you!
I know you have your phases too
Of where all seems hopeless, and feels like you are drowning
And like you can really get snuff out at no moments notice
Well, that seems fun
I want it.
What says you
Can we trade demons, seems mine are too nice
