What is this
Heart beating fast then faster
Hands trembling in sweat
I'm perspiring, I'm all wet.
Never felt anything of such bother
Will I over come it
I see others moving
Whilst I stand in the same posture
This is a moment to capture
Was what I would have said
If I wasn't frozen
Will I over come it
Center of attention, meet me
Where all their eyes can see
I behaved a fool
Now, they've rights to sue
All this regrets
Will I over come it
I stand froze as ice
But thoughts they swirle in my head
Maybe I shouldn't have
Maybe it'd be better if I was nice
I could've already starved
For a day or two
Wouldn't hurt was what I thought
Now I wish It was said.
It's haunting me deep inside too.
Will I overcome it
I could've listened to the other side
And dropped the knife
Rather than ride
In a limo with a groom and bride
Whom unfortunately
They had to say bye bye
Its torturing me
Will I overcome it
This feeling of regret
That walks inside of me
I wish to just forget
If Angel's could come my way
I'd ask them to protect
Me but it's a pity
At least if I find change
Then
I shall over come it
