Problems Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FFGG HHII JJKL MNN

There are problems in are lifeA
But we don t obsess itB
Take this reading as a messageC
Because when we think are live's turned aroundD
We figure our life's goal is to take the dirty crownE
-
My life's a wreck but it won't stopF
Its unholy to end a life that you have an urge to dropF
Love and lust is to trick a dirty soulG
That digs us deeper down the holeG
-
We say that problems are just mere thingsH
Our brains wear them as if they were ringsH
We keep getting up to settle the scoreI
I guess that's what our twenties are forI
-
But right now I see that truthJ
We've had these problems since our youthJ
Some treat these problems as immovable objectsK
Some think big problems are just a side projectL
-
How do we handle these problemsM
Well that's up to youN
But in the end what will rue the day is the fight you ensueN

Poet's note: This poem is really about defining problems. I wrote this poem for myself to really get the idea of a problem on paper. I wanted to express the feeling of problems being so simple but yet the complexity of that seemingly simple problem. It means a lot because it gives me a reason to keep pushing forward.
