Mint Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BBCC DDDD EEEE

Life is a mintA
The taste is sharper than flintA
If you don't get the hintA
Let me give you a glintA
-
Life is a breath of fresh airB
It makes you feel whole as one pairB
Its something to be sharedC
Its something to be caredC
-
Life is a double edged swordD
Even though its ignoredD
It can make you feel like the sky has been soaredD
Or it can make you feel like an unplugged cordD
-
Life feels cheapE
It can make you weepE
It can make you reckless and leapE
But a mint is something I can assure life is without a peepE
