POEM: I Will Marry When I Want.The poet has voiced out what many an African lady have been shy about. She's spoken the mind of the liberated women, few of which we have in Africa. The opening part of the poem contrasting with the end shows the rediscovery by the African woman, that self fulfillment does not depend on public opinion but discovery of your person and ambition. In the last stanza however, the poet's use of renounce is not at par with the flow of the main idea of the poem.
