Rhyme Scheme: AABBCD EEFFGH IIIJII KKLL MNOP| The environment is beautiful | A |
| so why should others damage it just because it can be useful | A |
| Deforestation to an extend should be a crime | B |
| afterall it is costing us a dime | B |
| Deforestation is killing plants | C |
| Taking and killing the children right out of nature's hands | D |

| Look at how much damage it amount | E |
| The cost is so high it can't even count | E |
| The trees and land are all crying out | F |
| but you don't care you still rip the out | F |
| They become bruised mangled and damaged | G |
| leaving the area entirely famished | H |

| The Mining of Bauxite | I |
| all day and all night | I |
| Give the trees a bream to soak up the sunlight | I |
| Stop cutting down the trees | J |
| leave them in sight | I |
| Dont you see they won't even put up a fight | I |

| The tourism industry is making a ton | K |
| by living off the massive damage they have done | K |
| Destroying trees to make tourist attractions | L |
| all they care about are there patrons satisfactions | L |

| Deforestation is causing many risks | M |
| that if you could write would take up many lists | N |
| We know the world needs to hear this | O |
| so let's all join in to stop this crisis | P |

Poet's note: I wrote this poem on January 11, 2023 for my english SBA on Deforestation. I want to express how harmful deforestation can be and how it damages the environment.
