Pretty, Dainty Flower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFG FHIJ ECKL MNOPQ REFS TNUV WXC

Has anyone seen a wandering girlA
She is a dancer I used to knowB
My baby said she would never leave meC
But she broke the promise that she madeD
-
Will somebody help me to find herE
She is the one who left me piningF
The one with the pretty dainty flower in her hairG
-
If you do remind her of the one who is hurtingF
Ask her about the love she left behindH
Please tell her that I am anticipating her safe returnI
And tell her I love her all the sameJ
-
If she knew how much I miss herE
She would come back and make me jollyC
And if she knew how long I shall waitK
She would come back and turn my gray sky into blueL
-
From my heart I truly regret my mistakesM
If could take back the foolish things I said and doneN
I would do it right awayO
Never again shall I be selfishP
No more shall I be vainQ
-
Will she forgive my childish waysR
Will she ever consider starting overE
I wish I knew what she is doingF
Most of all I wish I knew where she isS
-
In time she may recall the pretty dainty flowersT
The ones in my gardenN
She will return to pick fresh onesU
And she will not wander off againV
-
I was wrong and I admit itW
My jealous heart could not see her innocenceX
She was not unfaithful to meC
