The Polemic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDDADEA FDADGHIJHDKL

Everyone seems to believe munificenceA
is imperturbableB
Personally I believe it is non existentC
and not allocableB
We are a punctilious societyD
gregarious and surface level conciliatoryD
Following boisterous rulesA
that hide under hidden selfish gloryD
That we consider to be usual knowledgeE
but it truly impedes usA
-
The sardonic laughter we receiveF
when we say no to universityD
The vacuous looks we witnessA
when we dress with diversityD
The puerile punishment we had to adornG
as a child when we criedH
The unearned respectI
we are forced to give to the popularJ
just to be pushed to the sideH
I do not accede with the terms of our societyD
This is our polemicK
Fight itL
