Lukman Nurudeen Adeniyi, popularly known as Lonia, was born on January 10th, 2002, in Oyo State, Nigeria, into a Yoruba Muslim family. Despite his family's religious background, he has always been a free thinker with a strong belief in social justice, human rights, and democracy. From a young age, he was fascinated with language and its ability to convey complex ideas and emotions.

Lukman's love of language led him to pursue a career as a writer. He began writing poetry and short stories at a young age, and his talent quickly became evident. His works have been published in several national and international anthologies and magazines, earning him numerous awards and accolades.
