Two centuries ago you cameA
A century ago you came backB
Today you are here knocking at our doorC
We thought you will never comeD
Little did we know you willE
Don't you know we are a new generationF
We plead for your departureG
For how long will you stayH
We are fed up alreadyI
-
Isolation we embracedJ
Nations assumed a new way of lifeK
House arrest for everyoneF
Streets are empty and quietL
Wildlife in charge of the beautiful romantic landscapeM
Man is jealousN
-
Spring touched on not knowing Man can't welcome itO
No sunbathingP
No tripsQ
We thought it was just for a whileR
But reality catches upS
-
Society learned a new cultureG
Reading booksT
ListeningP
ExercisingP
Virtual world we goU
Instantaneous Speed we catchV
FaceTimingU
TweetingU
FacebookingU
GamingU
We are technology freaksW
-
Artists are more creativeX
Children Adults the rich the poor they play togetherG
And perhaps people learning new ways of beingU
More deeply they listenedY
Subtly they eavesdroppedY
-
Faith put to testY
Prayer meditation are the pills for boredomD
People begin to think differentlyI
Humanity and hospitality playing out so wellZ
-
In solitary some people living ignorantly dangerously meaningless and callouslyI
At the frontline of the this rageA2
Sacrifices are being madeY
Humanity begins to change its waysB2
The earth is healingU
The oceans are blueC2
The rivers are still and calmD2
The sky detoxifies and is blueC2
-
We grieve for the deadY
New goals we set of uncertaintyI
Dreaming new visionsE2
New choices we makeU
Adapting new ways of livingU
And the sound of victory is occupying each spaceF2
The earth is healingU
