Tollgate Killing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAB CDDEF BGHBG IJJIF

We cried for a change yet rageA
We complained still a lot of painB
In a cage that causes stainB
Pretty pitied pre occupied cageA
Leaders in their deceitful laneB
-
Claiming to curb what they areC
Come let's curse the accursedD
Enough of we being rejectedD
Twinkling stars and hope of tomorrowE
To bring change we went togetherF
-
Obviously we crossed our laneB
Butchered down like Fulani cowsG
Many were fallen in the rowsH
Bloody yet steady tears in our own laneB
Are we now better off than cowsG
-
Thereafter nothing was doneI
The present and the future are now enemiesJ
We were suppose to be familiesJ
To silent the future they have doneI
On the shoulder of the present lies the futureF
