Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNFor so long I've ached | A |
for so long I've yearned | B |
to tear out a heart so fragile | C |
I've wanted it off my bossom | D |
to feel how it is a heart without | E |
I've longed to pen a tear jerker | F |
an emission from a burning inside | G |
that smolders my chest empty | H |
denying me the covetous heartbeat | I |
Now I cut my body open | J |
firmly in my hands I hold my heart | K |
And on the white paper I let the red ink flow | L |
for I detest earth's appetite that's oft rejuvenated | M |
craving for my shell and ink | N |
