In Dependence
Years long ago
She was set fee of chains
Excitement got hold of wisdom
And she wore the chains as bracelets
Now she’s wiser
she got rid of “the bracelets”
it’s no use now
because marks were made
She seeks help
True freedom she imagines
Arms stretched
Eyes closed
Heart beating fast
Almost proud of all she has now
