Roller Coaster

A long and daunting journey
A perilous adventure
The twists and turns
Do you see it?

The highest of heights
Sweet victory
The lowest of lows
The pitt in your stomach
Do you feel it?

Stalking and prowling the night
Prey marked and sighted
Are you the prey?
Or are you the silent shadow-like hunter?

Topsy-turvy
Upside down
Isn’t the world just fun?
It’s a circus with a sinister turn-around

That’s it; the end
Don’t you wish that:
Life was a fairytale?
