Nightmare

A vast ocean of tears
An endless horizon
A lake of blood
An endless storm
Who isn’t drowning sometimes?

Red skies plagued with heavy make-up
Not a kindred spirit
A pack of wolves lost in the wind
And not a soul
Who isn’t lost and alone sometimes?

A scorched and blinded sun
Destruction in its wake
A moon shattered in half
A napalm rain of pain
Who isn’t scared sometimes?
