Written By Fate
One day I came to know,
A soul so quiet, calm, and slow.
No words at first, just silence near,
Until his gentle voice drew clear.
So soft it was, so mild, so kind,
A tender song that calmed the mind.
And as the seasons passed me by,
His nature shone, his spirit high.
I saw his goodness, pure and true,
A rarest heart, with none like you.
Unique he stands, beyond compare,
A light that warms the coldest air.
Perhaps it was by fate’s design,
That I should meet this soul divine.
For though my past was carved in pain,
His words erased the harsh refrain.
The cruelest lines that scarred my heart,
He never spoke, he played no part.
Instead he gave a voice of peace,
A kindness that will never cease.
