Why You Worry
Don’t chase my fire, don’t guard my way,
Your worry’s the night, but I walk in day.
The chains you fear are yours to bind,
Not mine to carry, not mine to find.
Why does my living trouble your sleep?
Why do my choices cut so deep?
The echo you hear is your own cry,
Not my wings soaring across the sky.
So lift your gaze, release the fight,
Your burden’s yours, not mine tonight.
I rise unbroken, bold and free,
The worry ends where you find thee
