The Shape Of Sadness
Sadness drifts like endless rain,
A silent echo, a tender pain.
It fills the room with muted gray,
And steals the light of brighter day.
It lingers soft in every breath,
A shadowed song of loss and death.
It bends the spine, it dims the eyes,
It hides the stars, it veils the skies.
Yet sadness speaks of love once near,
Of moments lost, of hearts sincere.
It carves the soul, it leaves its mark,
A fragile flame within the dark.
Though heavy now, though hard to bear,
Sadness shows the depth we share.
For only hearts that truly live
Can break, can ache, and still forgive.
