Life Is Sinking And Drifting
Life is sinking, slow and deep,
Into waters where shadows sleep.
The anchor pulls, the silence grows,
A heavy tide that no one knows.
Life is sinking, drifting on,
Through endless night, till break of dawn.
The waves may carry, winds may tear,
But still the soul is floating there.
Life is drifting, far from land,
A fragile ship with no command.
The stars are faint, the compass lost,
The journey weighed by sorrow’s cost.
Life is sinking, drifting on,
Through endless night, till break of dawn.
The waves may carry, winds may tear,
But still the soul is floating there.
Yet in the dark, a spark may rise,
A hidden light beneath the skies.
Though sinking deep, though drifting wide,
Hope lingers still, a quiet guide.
Life is sinking, drifting on,
Through endless night, till break of dawn.
The waves may carry, winds may tear,
But still the soul is floating there.
