If We Only Knew What’s Life Ahead
If we only knew what’s life ahead,
The paths we’ll walk, the tears we’ll shed,
Would we still dare to dream so high,
Or fear the truth beneath the sky?
If we could see each twist, each turn,
The lessons waiting, yet to learn,
Would hope still bloom, would courage rise,
Or fade beneath familiar skies?
Perhaps it’s mercy, veiled and kind,
That keeps the future undefined.
For in the dark, we choose our way,
And find new light with each new day.
So let us walk, though blind we go,
Through joy and grief we’ll come to know.
Life’s mystery is ours to tread—
A gift unseen, what lies ahead.
