Freedom

I chose the silence, soft and deep,
A vow to guard the soul I keep.
No louder voice, no endless fight,
My worth is steady, clear as light.

I will not mend what I did not break,
Nor carry burdens I did not make.
The chains of proving fell away,
And peace walked in to stay that day.

You may decide, you may regret,
But I will not be trapped in debt.
Your battles are your own to bear,
My spirit breathes unbound, aware.

I walk a road where calm winds sing,
Where freedom feels like everything.
No mask, no plea, no restless chase,
Just quiet steps in sacred space.

The world may doubt, the world may test,
But I have chosen what is best.
To move ahead, released, complete,
Forward, free, and at peace.
