Believe It All

Believe the tales, both false and true,
I’ve no more words to give to you.
The clock runs fast, my voice runs thin,
I won’t defend the life I’m in.

Add your colors, twist the frame,
Invent your stories, play the game.
I walk away, my silence loud,
Unmoved by whispers in the crowd.

For peace is mine, I’ve cut the chain,
No need to fight, no need explain.
Believe it all, or make it new—
I’ve no more time to prove to you.
