Battlefields Of Solitude

In my solitude
In my quiet moment of thought
I said to myself
I'll do this and not that
I'll repeat this and not that
Shave my hair
And leave it bald
Maybe i should just sing
sink my sorrows with songs
What next should i not do
Nor do to please you?
Inner voices
Multiple choices
The one to say and not to say
Then i said
For the sake of been Holy
Let me trade this for this
Yes having made up my mind
Then faith throws me up
Where my choices are tried
In this trial of fate
Nobody sees or hears my side
I'm only blamed for reacting to pain
When the thorns of impatience becomes unbearable
Another voice wants me to say
Say it this way
Do it that way
Nobody sees nobody hears
It was just a thought of things you fear
But will myself be whole?
If my limb says to another
Let's do this and the other says yes
Then the one who says yes says no?
It seems the whole will be in chaos
In my mind many things goes on
But the body says little
Guess its just a battle of choices.

Poet's note: The poem is inspired by the decisions i make and try to deal with everyday. When certain choices are made, keeping up with such choices becomes a tough one and you try to go back to the things you've absconded from, after all the choice was yours and it's nobody's business if changes occur. This reminds me of the battle between right and wrong, which goes on only in the human mind.
