Distance
He did not call,
She didn't come,
The sickness was fear,
The longing was dear,
Time upon time,
Looked us in the face.
What had life become?
Just an empty space.
We sought for the hand,
That will mend all our doubts.
We prayed for the day,
That would take the pain away,
It hasn't come,
Yet eagerly we await,
For dawn
At the edge of our lawn,
They speak solitude
When we want togetherness.
How can I cope,
When am alone in my space.
Your distance leaves me breathless,
Gasping for air.
I hate distance
Cos it worsens our world.
