Enduring

I push but it always pushes back
Like a tree that I can't hack
A quarterback I can't sack

This force taught me a lesson
Rejection makes my complexion
When I have an infection it pushes me toward succession

I embrace the failures that I concoct
Then I can overcome them and make the world shocked

Its harder than it seems
Even though your hero's look like dreams
But they too have something to endure behind the scenes
