Crossing Over

Surrounded by a void I barely lie
Waiting for something to happen
Don’t know what it is yet though
It’s cold and dark everywhere so
There’s no one around here man!
Is this as they say a final goodbye?
Lost in space without land or sky
There seems to be no definite plan
Not knowing where or when to go
Am I stuck in a place or in a flow?
Something will happen but when?
I can’t move, speak, laugh or cry
Even Time has been made to die
Yet I still exist beyond my lifespan
God has a purpose for me I know
For there’s wind around me though
In spirit my thoughts aren’t broken Intuitive musings splinter and fly
Dissolve,bond and calmly multiply
Trickles gushing forth into an ocean
Crossing over to the Lord all aglow.

Poet's note: Written in memory of the great SPB ( a famous Indian singer) who mesmerised us all with his songs for over 4 decades, which were so sublime and exhilarating and remains with us forever literally in video and audio recordings.
