Hello African Boy

When I call you,
Please don't refuse to come,
I don't use a knife to eat bread

When I call you,
Don't think twice rather, shout to the sky and
Say "wanji, waliwo obuzibu"

I understand my forefathers
Gave you stones for bread,
It was terrible. But I come with the water of life
Come ye to me, Come

Poet's note: Some of our people in Africa have remained reserved about welcoming our white brotherhood But they ought to understand that the times have changed. It is not like in the days when a Man of God preaching love would buy you for a slave My poem is aimed at mutual communion not liberty, equality or justice but just communion and reconcialiation
